QLTS and Professional Training have partnered to address two common challenges UK law firms find with their existing SQE provision:

1. Flexible Delivery. Candidates want the best of online and in-person training, allowing them to study in the way that best suits them. By combining QLTS’ renowned online delivery model, with Professional Training’s award-winning in-person training, we’re creating one of the most flexible and versatile SQE models in the market.

Candidates who completed 25 or more of our mock tests and reported their results, achieved a 94% pass rate at SQE1 held in July 2023. That compares with the national average pass rate of 53%.

How much does it cost?

Pricing is structured to be clear and predictable for law firms. SQE+ is typically offered on a per-candidate basis, with options for cohort pricing and volume discounts depending on intake size and delivery model. Full pricing is shared following an initial discussion to ensure the programme is aligned with your firm’s needs.

Which parts of the programme will be delivered online and which are in person?

SQE exam preparation is delivered through QLTS’ online learning platform, giving candidates flexible, self-paced access to study materials, mock exams, and tools. In-person elements, delivered by Professional Training, focus on cohort-based workshops and professional skills development. The balance between online and in-person delivery is agreed with each firm.

Where are your in-person courses held?

In-person training is delivered at agreed locations, which may include your firm’s offices or suitable training venues. Delivery is designed to minimise disruption to fee-earning work while ensuring maximum impact for candidates.

Can candidates do end-to-end qualification online without the need for in-person training?

Yes. Candidates can complete the SQE entirely online through QLTS’ existing pathways if in-person training is not required or preferred. SQE+ offers additional flexibility for firms that wish to complement online preparation with face-to-face training.

What do you need from us?

Very little. Once your firm is onboarded, all we ask is that candidates are signposted to SQE+. QLTS and Professional Training manage onboarding, delivery, progress tracking, and ongoing support, keeping the administrative burden on your firm to a minimum.

What post qualification support do you offer candidates and UK law firms?

SQE+ extends beyond qualification to support newly qualified solicitors as they transition into practice. This may include structured skills development, professional training, and continued access to learning resources for an agreed period, helping firms embed confident, practice-ready lawyers.
